Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Re: Top 17 Shows?

I respect this list - and the idea of this list, which probaby could spark more discussions than any political issue, at least with Dead Heads.

But, 30 years of touring - Pigpen, TC, Keith, Keith and Donna, Brent, Vince. I mean right there are 5 people (not including Hornsby) who came and left.

I think the list has to include the highs and the lows - not lows in terms of poor shows, but lows when the band seemed most fragile.

Here are mine:
8/27/72
12/12/73
10/20/74
6/3/76
5/7/77
9/3/77
9/2/80
9/6/80
10/6/83
10/22/83
7/7/84
10/20/84
11/2/84
4/8/85
6/27/85
7/13/85
11/1/85

I'm not saying there were not better shows that could make this list after '85 or before '72 - I'm just saying they didn't speak to me.

Enjoy
